Achtergrond: Cordaid en microkrediet

Cordaid verstrekt al tien jaar microkredieten aan kleine ondernemers in ontwikkelingslanden. In die tijd is het besef gegroeid dat het verlenen van microkredieten een moderne en duurzame manier van armoedebestrijding is. De Verenigde Naties riepen 2005 zelfs uit tot het jaar van het microkrediet. In oktober 2006 viert Cordaid het tienjarig bestaan van haar microfinance-activiteiten. Ter gelegenheid hiervan introduceert Cordaid een nieuw fonds: Cordaid Microkrediet.Lees verder…
